Four appellants in drug case to learn fate on Sept 25
Four appellants convicted in a drug case will know their fate on September 25, 2018. The defendants had earlier received jail sentences between six and 10 months, with the first defendant receiving the longest imprisonment for peddling drugs. He was as well fined BD10,000.
The first and second defendants were nabbed after the third and fourth defendants fell into police net in a secret operation following a tip-off stating that they were on drugs. During the questioning, the third and fourth defendants are said to have informed cops about their co-suspects, revealing that they were behind selling drugs to them.
