‘Defend the nation and protect it achievements’
Manama : BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa yesterday called on all its unit commanders to continue defending the nation and protecting its achievements by implementing development plans and training programmes. The aim, he said, is achieving sustainable development under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The BDF commander said this while inspecting a number of BDF units where he was informed about their development and modernization plans.
After listening to a briefing by the units’ Commanders, the BDF Commander-in-Chief urged to continue the same approach. Shaikh Khalifa stressed that in line with the directives of HM the King, BDF will continue to equip all its weaponry and units with cutting-edge military systems. The BDF Commander-in-Chief was accompanied in his inspection visit by Inspector General Major General Abdullah Hassan Al Nuaimi.
