‘Burglary, a passion as well as obsession’
A Bahraini man has revealed to prosecutors that he was obsessed and passionate about committing burglaries. The accused fell into the police net after he used an ID, which he stole while carrying out a burglary, to purchase a mobile phone. Court details also say that the defendant stole a mobile phone from the shop where he purchased the new mobile phone.
“I stole a phone on my way out from the shop while the salesman was dealing with another customer. I sold it at another shop,” he told prosecutors. The defendant was finally arrested by police officers after the telecommunication company filed a complaint about the fraudulent activities carried out to obtain the mobile phone using a fake ID.
