Asians jailed for forging driving license
An Asian man who tried to swap a forged Saudi driving license with a Bahraini one has been jailed for three years. The defendant was assisted by another Asian man who was also tried and handed down a similar jail term. Both defendants will be deported as soon as they complete their sentences.
The pair stood trial before the High Criminal Court after the Public Prosecution charged them with forgery. The defendant reportedly filed an application at the General Directorate of Traffic, to obtain a Bahraini driving license, attaching with it his “fake Saudi driving license”.
