Bahrain to host Indoor Skydiving World Cup
The Gravity Village will host the third FAI- The World Air Sports Federation World Cup of Indoor Skydiving 2018. The global event, which will be held from October 25 to 28, is expected to showcase the talents of most advanced indoor skydiving athletes from around the world, each representing their countries.
The competitions will be held in several disciplines and the winners will receive cash prizes totaling $200,000. Speaking to Tribune, Mariam Fathi, Marketing Manager of Gravity Indoor Skydiving said, “The Kingdom has previously organized many Indoor Skydiving competitions.
But this is for the first time that we are planning to host the FAI World Cup of Indoor Skydiving with participants coming from all across the world. “The competition is divided up into the following disciplines of body flight 4Way Formation Skydiving, 4Way Vertical Formation Skydiving, Dynamic 2Way, Dynamic 4Way, Solo Freestyle. “There will be a total of over 100 different teams from 25 countries competing, which just shows the growth of this type of competitions globally.
