Male molestation victim, detective to testify in court
The lawyer of an Arab woman defendant accused of molesting and robbing an Asian worker requested the High Criminal Court to summon him, his colleague at work and the detective who investigated the case to give evidence on October 7, 2018, and judges accepted the request.
The Arab woman, aged 32, is said to have offered sex to the Asian man in a bid to rob him.
The woman, a mother of seven children, had reportedly harassed her victim in a laundry shop, where the Asian man is serving before she robbed him and ran away. Revealing the events of the incident, the victim had told prosecutors: “The woman was wearing a niqab (veil) when she entered the shop. She asked me for water and then asked the way to the toilet. I told her the shop doesn’t have a toilet facility. Suddenly, she entered my area and pressed her body against mine before she hugged me and touched my private parts.”
While molesting, the Arab woman allegedly reached her hand into his trousers’ pockets in a bid to snitch his wallet.
