Hurricane: HM King directs to ensure citizen’s safety
Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has given directives to the Bahraini Embassy in the United States to take necessary measures to ensure the safety of Bahraini citizens in the eastern coast, particularly in the hurricane-hit North and South Carolina.
The royal directives came in a telephone conversation between with the Ambassador of Bahrain to the US, Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa. Following the directives, all arrangements have been made to transfer Bahraini visitors and students there to other US states. The embassy has also opened an emergency hotline to receive requests.
