Appeal hearing adjourned in germ-infected water death trial

The High Appeals Court has adjourned the appeal hearing filed by the parents of two children who died after drinking germ-infected water, until September 26, 2018, to review the Ministry of Health’s response.

The children, aged 5 and 11 years, demised after drinking water which carried a deadly germ, namely Chromobacter Violaceum.

The parents of the children blamed the company as well as the Ministry of Health for failing to inspect the tanks of the former to ensure they are clean.
