Shedding light on Indonesian culture
The Indonesian Embassy in Manama is inviting all cultural enthusiasts to take part in the Cultural Night 2018, which will be held tomorrow at the Bahrain Cultural Hall.
The event that will be held under the patronage of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities is hosted to celebrate and shed light on Indonesian culture and community. Speaking to Tribune, Agus Syuhada, Head of Information, Social and Cultural Affairs at the Indonesian Embassy, said, “The Indonesian Cultural Night is brought to you by the Indonesian Embassy and supported by the Ministry of Tourism of Indonesia. The event is a way to intensively promote our traditional arts and cultures, to the kingdom of Bahrain and further provide entertainment to the Indonesian community in Bahrain.”
“In the previous years, we have had an Indonesian Jazz Night, Angklung, the traditional music of Indonesia, and traditional dance performance. But this is for the first time a cultural event will be held on such a large scale.”
