Media workshop held

The General Organization for Youth and Sports organized training programmes and activities in cooperation with its Media center in Youth City 2030, in order to attract a number of young people to emerge into the Media field of Bahrain.
The training programme offered children a chance to be trained at the hands of professionals in the media field. In the introductory session, youth were taught various topics including definition of press and functions, types and elements of the press release and how to simplify news.
The trainees were expected to identify journalistic type of writing in order to engage young people in the future of media.Media training sessions were provided by Eman Marhoon, Noora Al Qasimi, Nedhal Al Atawi, and Nader Ameer and a number of experts.
Hamad Abdullah said the programmes on leadership workshops provided experience in the media center as they covered various aspects.These media packages include several specialized programmes in the media and related sciences such as media presentation, design, printing, filming, photography, writing and scenario.
