New gen Wrangler set to blaze trails off-road and on-road
The fourth-generation Jeep Wrangler recently launched in Bahrain, will be offered in three different trim levels: Sport, Sahara, and Rubicon - all available in two- or four-door configuration.
The all-new Jeep Wrangler builds on a sculptural design aesthetic that is immediately recognizable with its traditional Jeep design cues, from the round headlights to the seven-slot grille; from the trapezoidal wheel arches to the visible hinges; from the folding windshield to the sport bar; from the removable doors to the open-air configurations with hard top or soft top. Wrangler’s new exterior design is bold and rugged with a wide stance and lowered beltline with larger windows for better outward visibility, especially out on extreme trails.
Speaking to the Tribune Jeff Ellsworth, Head of Jeep Brand Middle East Region, stated “The new vehicle is all new; there isn’t a bolt on this car that is carry-over. This offers optimum capability, more than the JK (third generation Wrangler off-road). We’ve made the new generation the most comfortable, most fuel efficient and technology rich. We targeted to stay true to Wrangler’s roots and to its personality, but we want to make this car something that just isn’t a weekend warrior but something you can live with on a daily basis and I believe we’ve accomplished that in the new vehicle,”
“The vehicles capability still remains its main priority,” he added. Wrangler has received a loyal following from Bahrain’s offroad community. Engineered to master the most challenging off-road tracks, Jeep Wrangler is the result of more than seventy-five years of leadership in the development of 4x4 systems.
“First is our off-road community, we want to ensure that we cater to our Jeep enthusiast but we wanted to take it to another step and target people who have never considered a Wrangler before. We want to expand our customer base to people who enjoy driving around town. We really wanted to take this to a whole new level of customer base that wasn’t able to reach in the past. Our key selling point is the comfort and refinement that is prominent in this vehicle,” said Jeff Ellsworth.
