Unite against terror, ’The whole world should believe in coexistence and this belief will lead to ultimate peace’

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday urged the world community to unite against terror to safeguard the future of humanity.

This came as Cabinet Affairs Minister Mohammed Al Mutawa read out HRH the Premier’s speech at the Bahrain Visions Forum, which was held at the headquarters of the United Nations, on the sidelines of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly, under the theme “Shared Visions for a Successful World Future”.

HRH the Premier stressed that Bahrain has always believed that achieving peace is vital to attain developmental goals, especially in light of terror incidents and tragedies that have struck the region.

The Premier warned that today’s world is facing a cycle of challenges fuelled by ethnic and sectarian conflicts and expansive ambitions.

He emphasized that the imminent threats posed by terrorism and the frenzied race to possess weapons of mass destruction threaten the future of humanity. “The whole world should believe in coexistence and this belief will lead to ultimate peace.”

HRH the Premier stressed that the will of the people and their good morals aspire to live in peace in a world free of wars and bloody conflicts.
