Hospital observes World Heart Day
Marking the World Heart Day yesterday, a special awareness event was held at the Middle East Hospital. The day was observed across the world under the theme ‘My heart, your heart’.
Present at the occasion were Dr Saj Mendis, Sri Lankan Ambassador to Bahrain, Mohammed Al Sinan, Chairman of Muharraq Municipal Council, P V Radhakrishna Pillai, President of Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam, Dr Sai Giridhar, Executive Director of the Middle East Hospital Group, community leaders of various Bahraini and Indian social organisations, prominent community members, officials, diplomats, dignitaries, well-wishers and hospital staff and patients. Marking the day, the hospital offered free health checkups between 9.00 am and 9.00 pm.
