52 teams qualify for ‘Mashroo3i’ youth biz awards

A total of 52 teams out of 90 registered have been qualified for the next phase of Youth Business Plans Competition ‘Mashroo3i’.

Organised annually by the Labour Fund “Tamkeen”, the national platform of Mashroo3i promotes entrepreneurial values of Bahraini youths by pro viding the necessary tools to transform their business ideas into feasible business plans. Following the completion of the Orientation Training, during the first phase, the shortlisted teams will start developing their business plans over the coming two months. Judges will review their plans in December.

“During the upcoming phase, contestants will be working closely with their mentors who represent an elite selection of local entrepreneurs,” commented Manager of Youth Schemes at Tamkeen, Mohammed Ahmadi. The selected teams will then proceed to the Prototype phase where 30 teams will be shortlisted. Selected prototypes will be displayed at a public exhibition, which will be held in one of the shopping malls in March 2019.
