100 teams to take part in FAI Indoor Skydiving World Cup
The Gravity Indoor Skydiving held a press conference yesterday at the Ritz-Carlton, to announce the details of the 3rd FAI World Cup of Indoor Skydiving 2018 taking place from 25-28 of October.
Gravity’s General-Manager and Head of the World Cup Management Committee, Khawla Al Hammadi and the Bahrain Air Sports Federation Executive Manager, Mohamed Albulooshi and press and media representatives were present.
“With the directives and full support of Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairman of Gravity Indoor Skydiving, we are announcing today the details of the Third FAI World Cup of Indoor Skydiving, which will be hosted by Bahrain for the first time in Asia and the Middle East.
“Organised by Gravity Indoor Skydiving in collaboration with the Bahrain Air Sports Federation, the event will be held from 25-28 October, 2018. More than 100 teams from 25 countries will take part in the event, bringing together the most advanced indoor skydiving athletes from around the world,” Ms Al Hammadi added.
Among the competitors are world freestyle champions Kyrah Poh from Singapore and Maja Kuczyńska from Poland, in addition to world champions in 4-Way Formation Skydiving “Hayabusa” and the 2-Way Dynamic champions “Windoor” from Spain.
