Bahraini start-up’s success steals show at tech summit

A Bahraini start-up that has reportedly managed to gain customers in all 196 countries of the world was one of the success stories highlighted at a Bahrain Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCI) event held yesterday.

Rapidly growing Bahriani start-up Skiplino that has managed to serve customers in every corner of the world was one of the successful start-ups featured in the first ever BCCI Technology Summit event held at Capital Club premises in Manama yesterday.

Skiplino is a multilingual queue management system which is cloud based. It helps users to queue in advance or avoid queues altogether.

The event which was held coinciding with the Bahrain Tech Week, featured talks by business leaders including BCCI board members, Government officials, successful start-up owners and others.

Speaking to Tribune on the sidelines of the event, founder of Skiplino Zaman Ah Zaman, said that the start-up’s tremendous growth is partly down to their strong presence online.
