BTEA hosts RTK tour for 40 German travel agencies

The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) has organized a trip in collaboration with Raiffeisen Tours - Kooperation (RTK) Top Agents for 40 representatives from the leading German travel agencies.

RTK is one of the largest European organizations in the travel industry and currently consists of 4,000 travel agencies. It offers its partners professional and innovative travel solutions and has a nationwide network consisting of partners and franchisees. The BTEA expressed its gratitude for the selection of the Kingdom as a destination for RTK’s Top Agents annual trip.

This comes as a result of the meetings held between the BTEA and RTK in ITB Berlin 2018 followed by Bahrain being announced as the winner of the bid.

“The trip comes as a result of meetings held with RTK during ITB Berlin 2018 which was held back in March where the BTEA was provided with the opportunity to showcase the diversified tourism facilities of the Kingdom; as well as highlight Bahrain’s potential for tourism due to its rich culture and diverse range of offerings,” said the Chief Executive Officer of BTEA, Shaikh Khaled bin Humood Al Khalifa.
