‘47,000 included’ in CSB evaluation programme

Around 47, 000 employees in the public sector are included in a special evaluation programme initiated by the Civil Service Bureau (CSB), a senior official revealed.

The General Director of Human Resources Development in the CSB Adel Hajji said the “Ada’a” programme to assess public employees includes employees in all of the ministries and official authorities and establishments. He said the programme fairly and subjectively applies the same standards on all employees, stating that it contributes to the creation of a positive culture in the governmental body and enhances communication and constructive dialogue between employees and direct heads and managers.

Mr. Hajji said: “Based on the results of the staff performance assessment, some 300 employees were actually granted an incentive allowance, approximately 650 employees were given an incentive bonus and training programmes were provided for more than 100 employees who scored low in the evaluation.”
