Sports infra boost lauded
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday paid a visit to the Gravity Indoor Skydiving, in Zallaq, and listened to a briefing by the committee Head of the Third FAI World Cup of Indoor Skydiving 2018 Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa on the ongoing preparations for the world championship which is set to be held from October 25 to 28.
Touring the facility, HRH the Prime Minister affirmed that expanding the kingdom’s sports infrastructure has boosted Bahrain’s capability of hosting international championships and promoted tourism by turning Bahrain into a favourite destination for many regional and international sports federations.
HRH the Premier added that Bahrain’s hosting of the 3rd FAI World Cup of Indoor Skydiving 2018 reflects confidence in the kingdom’s capabilities to host major international sporting events.
