NHRA online service launched

A new online service to serve the healthcare sector has been launched. The Information and eGovernment Authority in collaboration with the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) has launched a new electronic service, which will serve medical professionals.

The main function of the system is the licensing of healthcare professionals. A trial version of the service has been launched so far; however no date has been set for the full launch.

According to an IGA representative, it is likely to be launched before the end of the month. “This will be extremely helpful for medical professionals. For example, if you are a new doctor, you can apply for a new license or if you need a renewal of your licence you can also do that online with the use of this service.

This will remove the need to physically visit any government branch. “The service being online will save a lot of time for everyone involved,” the representative told Tribune. “This will also be useful for all the hospitals and pharmacies. Registering agents can also make use of this.
