Drug-addict couple’s plea hearing date set
A couple convicted of consuming drugs has appealed the ruling against them, which will be reviewed by the High Appeals Court on November 12, 2018, it is learnt.
Both defendants were sentenced to one year behind bars each, although the wife revealed to judges earlier that it was her husband who encouraged her to consume drugs. The 26-year-old woman was arrested along with her husband while they were searching for drugs under parked cars in Manama.
