Over 1,500 experts to take part in World Data Forum

More than 1,500 experts from the government, business and civil society will take part in the United Nations World Data Forum, which will be held in Dubai from October 22 to 24.

The forum will also have national statisticians, data scientists from the private sector and academia, international organisations, and members of civil society groups as participants.

The event aims to come up with innovative methods to deliver best data on health, migration, refugees, education, income, environment, human rights, and other aspects of sustainable development. Samir Imtair Aldarabi, Director for United Nations Information Centre for the Gulf States and UNIC Manama told Tribune, “The second UN World Data Forum will be hosted by the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority of the United Arab Emirates.
