Causeway project on track
Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Transport, Nabil bin Mohammed Al Amudi, and Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, Kamal Ahmed yesterday announced that the tender for consultancy services to manage the transition phase of the King Hamad Causeway project will be issued next week.
The announcement was made on the sidelines of the Future Investment Initiative (FII), held in Riyadh under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Transport highlighted the vital role played by the leadership of both countries in initiating both the King Hamad Causeway and associated railway projects. The minister added that the projects will be implemented in partnership with the private sector in accordance with the directives of both countries. Mr. Ahmed noted that the tender for consultancy services to manage the transition of the King Hamad Causeway will be issued next week by the King Fahd Causeway Authority.
