NRI businessmen make a beeline to meet Modi

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a two-day visit to the UAE, met top Non-resident Indian (NRI) investors and got briefed about the various projects they are investing in India.
The businessmen led by Abu Dhabi Chamber Director board member, Yusuffali MA updated the Indian Premier about the prevailing business scenario in the UAE and the excellent support extended by the rulers and authorities toward the Indian community.
They also updated Modi about the challenges faced by NRIs to invest in India. The Indian Prime Minister urged the NRIs to renew their efforts to bring in more investments into their motherland, especially in the infrastructure and related fields.
During the meeting, he also highlighted the role of ‘Make in India’ for the future generation of Indians.
Bahrain entrepreneurs
A lot of Indian expats in Bahrain yesterday left for Dubai to meet Narendra Modi, the first Indian Prime Minister to visit UAE in 34 years. Around eleven members of Sanskruthi Bahrain got special pass to meet the Indian Prime Minister. “We are excited about the PM’s visit,” Ajith Mathoor, one of the members of Sanskruthi, told DT News, sitting in Fly Dubai yesterday on his way to meet Modi.
