Book stresses need for increased co-operation among Arab countries

The International Peace Institute, Middle East and North Africa (IPI MENA) yesterday launched the book “The Arabs at the Crossroad”, authored by Samira Rajab, Special Envoy of the Royal Court.

The audience at the event included ambassadors, government officials, dignitaries, and religious leaders. IPI MENA director Nejib Friji opened the event by stating that the launch of the book, ‘Arabs at the Crossroad’ meets the series of questions put by IPI within the

‘Taskforce on Regional Integration in the Middle East’ initiative. Outlining the historical and political analysis of the ‘game of nations’ played in the region; Ms. Rajab said that through her book, she has attempted to “shed some light before Arabs and researchers, in view of the formidable obstacles and knowledge barriers that get a grip on the reality of the entire region”.
