UAE ties lauded

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has stressed that the stances of the United Arab Emirates towards Bahrain will remain engraved in the kingdom’s history as they reflect the true meaning of fraternity and relations between two countries that share love, solidarity, as well as unified destiny and goals.

HRH Premier pointed out that the stances of the UAE, under the leadership of President HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, are based on a deep-rooted legacy and approach spearheaded by the late Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan, and is still adopted by UAE leaders. The Prime Minister made the statements as he received, at his Palace in Riffa, the UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who was accompanied by Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, Noora bint Mohammed Al Ka’abi, on the occasion of their visit to Bahrain to participate in the 8th session of the High Bahrain-UAE Joint Committee meeting.

HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed conveyed to HRH Premier greetings from the UAE President, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed, Vice-President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, as well as their wishes of further progress and prosperity to Bahrain. HRH Premier expressed congratulations to the UAE’s president, government and people following the successful launch of the first UAE-made satellite, KhalifaSat, describing it as a superb scientific achievement that is a source of pride for all GCC and Arab citizens.
