Regulator assesses private hospitals
Sixteen privately-owned hospitals have undergone overall assessed to measure their performance. National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) Chief Executive Officer Dr. Mariam Al Jalahma announced the completion of the assessment of private hospitals, for the first time in the Kingdom.
She announced that four hospitals and 170 medical centers would be assessed as part of a strategy to ensure world-standard health services and meet the quality. Receiving the accreditation team, Dr. Al Jalahma took pride in the award which was conferred on the health regulatory authority for best practices during the Government Forum 2018.
The forum was held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, at the initiative of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.
