Kooheji inspires Bahraini athletes at KHK MMA
Hamza Kooheji is the first Bahraini who trained at the KHK MMA Bahrain to embark on a professional career and represent the Kingdom of Bahrain. The bantamweight fighter continues to inspire the upcoming athletes despite not competing in the current edition of Brave 18.
Despite not competing in the fight card, Kooheji is training alongside the team on a regular basis which is motivating the team to push hard. In 2018, Bahrain National Team will showcase over 21 athletes which is the largest representation from the Kingdom of Bahrain till date.
Yousif Al Kooheji, Coach at KHK MMA had earlier commented that the National Team will be focusing bringing gold medals to Bahrain as it supports the vision by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa which called the year as “The Year of Gold”.
In 2017 the national team came 3rd in the medal tally. The presence of Hamza Kooheji alongside the professional fighters and national team is considered to improve the team spirit Hamza Kooheji and to motivate the athletes.
