Settle dues fast
The Cabinet chaired by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday gave directives to ministries and government departments to expedite the administrative procedures to ensure the payment of financial dues to companies, contractors and suppliers according to the agreed upon schedule, The Cabinet instructed the ministries and departments to avoid bureaucracy and be committed to the government’s constant policy of disbursement of dues in a timely manner.
The Prime Minister also gave directives to ministries to ensure that Bahrainis benefit from all investment opportunities in their country, stressing that Bahraini contractors and companies should always have full and fair chances to participate in government-funded projects, according to the competitiveness principle.
HRH the Premier instructed the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning to quickly compensate those whose lands or properties have been expropriated for public benefit and to take all necessary measures to ensure the expeditious disbursement of dues.
