Sea Festival attracts over 24,000 visitors
The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) has successfully concluded the Sea Festival, which was held between the 25th of October and 3rd of November 2018, attracting more than 24,000 residents and tourists. The Festival featured a number of activities, including a gaming zone, VR Boat Adventure, a museum, an aquarium, and a “Fisherman Village” which included kiosks dedicated to traditional handicrafts related to the sea, including pearl merchants.
There were more than 20 food vendors for visitors to enjoy, as well as a line-up of live performances by traditional bands participating in the event. The Festival also included boat tours inside Bahrain Bay, water activities such as kayaking, paddling, rowing races and the Russian Jetski Show.
