Rare honour for Bahraini start-up
A Bahraini start-up has become the only GCC company to be selected to compete in PITCH at Web Summit 2018 in Lisbon from thousands of worldwide applications.
Elephant Social, a revolutionary application aims to replace the need for digital marketing agencies. The start-up was shortlisted among the top 160 worldwide to compete at the venue in front of Fortune 500 companies, tech journalists from across the world and 14,000 plus live audience. As a pioneering tech innovation company in Bahrain, Elephant Social has become the only company in the GCC shortlisted to pitch at the world-renowned Web Summit 2018, it is learned.
“Being the only company from the GCC at Web Summit 2018 adds a lot of pressure to the competition, as we want to showcase not only the amazing work my team has done but also showcase the startup scene in Bahrain,” Elephant Social CEO and Co-founder, Omer A Rana told Tribune.
