Cooking odysseys of an aircraft engineer
Glen R Stansfield, a qualified aircraft engineer who is currently residing in the Kingdom with his wife has launched a cookbook titled ‘Around the World in Eighty Dishes’.
The book is a collection of recipes from around the world. It also gives background information about different foods of various countries.
Speaking to Tribune, Glen said, “The idea is based loosely on the travels of Phileas Fogg in Jules Verne’s novel ‘Around the World in Eighty Days’.
In 1872, Fogg wagered the sum of twenty-thousand pounds he could circumnavigate the globe in just eighty days.
