Four years in prison for two men who stole BD14
Two Bahraini defendants will spend the next four years behind bars for stealing BD14 from parked cars. According to prosecutors, the duo broke the window panes of three cars with an aim to steal money and valuables. “We broke the window panes of three cars that were parked near a swimming pool. However, we could only find BD14,” the first defendant told prosecutors. The duo were arrested after the car owners filed a complaint at the nearest police station.
They were charged with theft. The Lower Criminal Court said that it found their crimes too serious that it decided to double their jail time with regard to the crime they committed.
