Filipino expats’ contributions stressed
HRH the Premier has lauded the contributions of the Filipino community towards the Kingdom’s development march. This came as His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received the Special Envoy of the Philippines President to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Countries, Dr. Amable Aguiluz, who is currently on a visit to Bahrain, at his Palace in Riffa yesterday. Dr Aguiluz conveyed to HRH the Prime Minister greetings from the Philippines President, Rodrigo Duterte, and his wishes of abundant health and happiness to him, and of further progress and prosperity to Bahrain and its people. HRH the Premier lauded the advanced levels reached by the Bahraini-Philippines relations in various fields, thus embodying the depth of the two countries’ cooperation, friendship, as well as mutual understanding and respect.
