AMAIUB holds graduation ceremony for 14th batch
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa deputized Shaikh Khalifa bin Rashid Al Khalifa to attend the graduation ceremony held by AMA International University-Bahrain (AMAIUB) for its 14th batch of students.
The celebration held at Al Dana Ballroom, Gulf International Convention Centre, to honour the holders of the Bachelor Degree was attended by the Special Envoy of the Philippines President to the GCC Countries, Honorary President of AMA Educational System and President of AMA International University, Dr. Amable Aguiluz, Education Minister Dr. Majid Al Nuaimi, senior officials, members of the Diplomatic Corps and the graduates’ parents.
Shaikh Khalifa conveyed the greetings of HRH the Premier, the patron of the ceremony, to the graduates and their families, as well as his best wishes of further success to them. He asserted that the government, led by HRH Premier, places the educational sector among its priorities, given its key role in preparing generations with enough scientific and cultural knowledge that would enable them to contribute to ensuring a better present and future.
He added that Bahrain boasts a long history in education, and has managed, over the past years, to bring about a giant leap regarding the number of advanced educational facilities, and develop its educational curricula so that they can meet the needs of the development process it is witnessing in various fields. Shaikh Khalifa lauded the role played by AMAIUB in developing education in the kingdom thanks to its widely-recognized academic and administrative competencies.
