A rainy week ahead
Marking the onset of winter, the Kingdom will experience a rainy week ahead, according to weathermen. Light to heavy showers experienced in the past two days across the Kingdom are expected to continue until Tuesday, it is learned. “The country will see an unsettled weather with chances of scattered showers, thundery at times,” the Meteorological Directorate said in its forecast yesterday.
“Northwesterly winds will range from 07 to 12 knots, reaching 17 to 22 knots at times during the day, with gusts which may reach 35 knots at times. “The maximum temperature on Sunday will be 27-degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature will be 21 degrees Celsius with a maximum and minimum humidity of 98 percent and 50pc respectively.”
A similar forecast has been issued for tomorrow and Tuesday. “Tomorrow is expected to be rainier than Tuesday while Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are expected to be fine, cloudy days.” The directorate, yesterday also warned the public against believing news from unofficial sources. “All citizens kindly requested to follow up warnings issued by Meteorological Directorate and ignore unofficial sources,” it said.
