Kingdom’s keenness on right steps stressed

In a meeting held at the Gudaibiya Palace yesterday, Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa reviewed a number of domestic and regional issues.

They affirmed the Kingdom’s constant keenness to take measures that protect it from potential regional economic, security or political developments, in line with the sound directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the need to adopt initiatives that ensure optimal dealing with all challenges and remain unaffected by their negative impacts. 

HRH Premier and HRH the Crown Prince stressed the Kingdom’s unwavering efforts to develop its legislation and laws to ensure they are deterrent enough and match the dangerous shift in terror tactics. They pointed out the need to uproot the misguided ideology that feeds terrorism through stepping up regional and global cooperation.

In this regard, HRH Premier and HRH the Crown Prince said that the government’s specialised bodies were capable of confronting terrorism, and would not allow terror groups to implement their sinful plots.

“The government will also thwart the heinous schemes of the plotters and those behind them through taking more legal steps and measures in order to enforce and safeguard security and stability nation-wide,” they said, expressing pride in the crucial role played by the security authorities in this regard.
