Victory for Bahraini fighter
Bahraini MMA fighter Hussain Ayyad rose to the occasion to record an emphatic victory in front of a cheering home crowd during Brave 18 yesterday. Hussain defeated Mohamed Abo Ali from Egypt in an impressive display where the fight ended with a technical knockout.
The fight did not go past the first round as a dominant performance from Ayyad defeated Ali. After taking down Ali, Ayyad proceeded to ‘ground and pound’ when the referee had to intervene and stop the fight, awarding a victory to Ayyad.
Title Fights
For the first title fight of the night, Marcel Adur took on Velimurad Alkhasov for the inaugural Brave flyweight championship. Velimurad Alkhasov defeated Marcel Adur.
Stephen Loman from the Philippines fought Felipe Efrain and won becoming the first Brave champion to defend his belt two times. For the main event of the day and Lightweight Championship, Defending champion Lucas Miniero faced Abdul Kareem Al Selwady, in which Al Selwady won the first round.
