King Hamad Chair inauguration lauded
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, affirmed that the inauguration of the King Hamad Chair in Interfaith Dialogue and Peaceful Co-existence at the Sapienza University in Rome, which is one of the oldest European universities, is a vital step to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s vision in establishing tolerance and coexistence among different cultures and peoples.
It is also considered an embodiment of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s openness to the whole world, as it occupies an active role in enhancing understanding, communication, and dialogue among all, the minister said. The Minister of Foreign Affairs added that this significant achievement targets the youth in particular, as His Majesty the King considers them the foundation of progress and development in any society and are important pillars in the achievement of sustainable development.
