Lions Club to host poetry symposium
Top poets are set to take part in a poetry symposium, which will be hosted by the Lions Club of Riffa. The third International Mushaira and Kavi Sammelan will be held on November 22, 2018, at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Manama.
The symposium will witness the presence of renowned Urdu and Hindi Poets from India, Pakistan, Gulf Countries and Bahrain. Lions Club Riffa President Sanjay Gupta said that more than 600 poetry lovers are expected to attend the event. “Lions Club of Riffa has been actively serving the society in Bahrain for more than two decades.
Our initiatives include donation of food packets to the needy through Red Crescent Society, donations to Geriatrics Hospital, donations to the Oncology Department of Salmaniya Hospital apart from organising regular medical camps for labourers, blood donations and green drives.”
