Zero tolerance to graft
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday President of the National Audit Office Hassan bin Khalifa Al Jalahma who submitted to him the office’s 15th report for the fiscal year 2017-2018.
HRH the Premier stressed the government’s keenness on protecting public money and ensuring its best use to serve people. He added that any irregularities will be dealt with according to the law, pointing out that protecting public money and rationalising expenditure is a strategic priority for the government to boost performance and promote the national economy.
He also affirmed that the best use of available resources and directing public money to serve sustainable development occupies central stage in the government’s work to continue achieving rising growth rates to fulfil present and future aspirations.
HRH the Prime Minister hailed the role of the National Audit Court in protecting public money, stressing the government’s continuous adoption of strategies to guarantee its spending for the service of the nation and people.
