Boosting investments
A number of officials at the Economic Development Board (EDB) discussed ways of co-operation with the Foreign Investors Association (FIA) and how to benefit from the association’s experience in promoting the Kingdom, during the meeting held recently at the Economic Development Board.
The meeting was attended by Fadi Al Majali, Chairman of FIA and a number of the Board of Directors and members, while the attendees from EDB were Dr Simon Galpin, Managing Director and other officials.
Dr Galpin stressed that EDB is working closely and effectively with all relevant entities in the public and private sectors in Bahrain to discuss ways of co-operation to achieve its role in promoting Bahrain’s attractive investment climate and as the ideal gateway to the Gulf market, emphasising EDB’s efforts to attract more investments.
