Leading artist Banah to headline ‘Manama Doesn’t Sleep’ concert
Rising artist Banah will be perform tonight in a concert “Once upon a dream: Music between the East and West” orchestrated by maestro Ziyad Zeman.
The concert comes as part of the National Day Celebrations “Manama Doesn’t Sleep” organised by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities at the Cultural Hall tonight at 10:00 pm.
Among the lineup is Banah’s new song “Shou Helou Nihna”, in addition to modern renditions of classical songs by musical legends such as Fairouz, Mohammed Abdel Wahab, Majida El Roumi, Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald.
The concert will be a fusion of Eastern and Western music and will take its audience on a journey into the past and present. Performing alongside Banah will be a band composed of 15 major performers from the region and the Bahrain National Orchestra.
