His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa yesterday received a cable of congratulations from US President Donald Trump on the occasion of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s National Day celebrations, marking the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Muslim country in 1783 by its founder Ahmed Al Fateh, the 47th Anniversary of its accession to the UN as a full member and the 19th Anniversary of HM the King’s Accession to the Throne.

The US president extended deepest congratulations to HM the King, wishing him abundant health and happiness, and further progress and prosperity to the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people. British Queen Elizabeth II also congratulated His Majesty on the special occasion.

The Ministry of Education held a celebration at its Hall in Isa Town, marking the National Day. Education Minister, Majid Al Nuaimi, patronised the event, held under the theme “Our Martyrs in the Eyes of Our Children”, with the participation of 220 primary school students and students with special needs from 57 schools.

The minister was informed about the artistic expo held by the students, including paintings marking the Commemoration Day.
