Spectra 2018 a big hit

As many as 5,000 children took part in the art carnival ‘Spectra 2018’ organised by the Indian Community Relief Fund (ICRF) under the patronage of the Indian Embassy.

‘Faber Castell Spectra 2018’, the largest art competition for students in the Kingdom, was held yesterday at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre.

The event began by 7.30 am and completed by 4.30 pm. P K Chaudhary, Second Secretary at the Indian Embassy, was the chief guest while Sanjay Bhan, General Manager of Faber Castle, was the guest of honour. Indian Ambassador Alok Kumar Sinha distributed prizes to the winners of different contests.

Participants were divided into four age groups: five to eight years, eight to eleven years, eleven to fourteen years and fourteen to eighteen years. This year an adult category competition for participants above 18 years was as well included.
