Shura pays homage to late servicemen

The Shura Council has extended deepest appreciation and gratitude to fallen servicemen marking the Commemoration Day, launched by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on December 17 every year, to commemorate the sacrifices they have made throughout the kingdom’s history. In a statement, the Shura council expressed deep pride in the servicemen of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), the Interior Ministry and the National Guard, who spare no effort in order to show their love and loyalty to the nation and its leadership and round-the-clock readiness to defend the country at all fields of victory and honour.

The Shura Council affirmed that the Commemoration Day is a kind Royal gesture aimed at paying tribute to those who sacrificed their lives while carrying out their patriotic duties in defence of their homeland and their Nation at various battlefields. The Shura Council prayed to Allah the Almighty to rest the souls of the late servicemen from the (BDF), the Interior Ministry and the National Guard, and their brethren from the GCC and Arab countries in eternal peace and to bless their relatives with patience and fortitude.
