Car overturns after collision
A car overturned after colliding with another vehicle yesterday near Yateem Centre in Manama Souq. The accident occurred around 7.30 am and according to sources, the victims were Arab nationals, who escaped unhurt.
“Luckily, other vehicles as well as pedestrians did not get involved in the accident,” a source told Tribune. “A team of police instantly rushed to the scene. It is believed that speeding has led to the accident,” he added.
The Ministry of Interior is yet to release a statement on the accident. Among other things, the ministry confirmed two fire mishaps on its Twitter handle yesterday.
