Ex-chairman urges new council to continue developmental push
One of the former municipal council chairmen has urged the newly-elected council to extend support to all ongoing projects initiated by the previous council.
Mohammed Al Sinan, former chairman of Muharraq Municipal Council, has listed out many projects which need attention from the new council and among them the shading project at Muharraq Souq should be given top priority.
“The shading project will benefit owners of shops, shopkeepers as well as customers. Apart from this, it will also help in giving a traditional look to the souq, especially when we think in a tourism perspective.
