Continue promoting Economic vision 2030, says Deputy King

The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday stressed the importance of continuing to promote Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030’s principles of sustainability, fairness and transparency across all work streams. To improve operational efficiency, Prince Salman said, it is important to strengthen the collaboration of the National Audit Office (NAO) with all public entities, in line with the Kingdom’s comprehensive development programme.

HRH Prince Salman was receiving the President of the National Audit Office (NAO), Hassan bin Khalifa Al Jalahma, at Riffa Palace. During the meeting, the Deputy King praised the NAO’s important role in protecting public funds, highlighting that issues of non-compliance will be addressed through effective and efficient measures.  

For his part, the President of the NAO Extended his thanks to the Deputy King for supporting the NAO’s work, highlighting, in particular, the directives to follow up on the progress of addressing issues highlighted in the 2017-2018 report. The Deputy Prime Minister, Jawad Al Arrayedh, Deputy Prime Minister, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, and the Minister of Finance and National Economy, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa were present.
