Kochi Metro Bahrain Short-Film Fest 2018 concludes
The first edition of Kochi Metro Bahrain Short-Film Fest 2018 held in association with NIKON Middle East and Cineco (exhibition partner) has concluded.
The festival, a brainchild of renowned South Indian actor Raveendran, was held under the patronage of Capital Governor Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa and it was inaugurated by Deputy Governor Hassan Abdullah Al Madani. The Cineco X, Oasis Mall, Juffair Screens had been the nerve centre of the event, hosting screenings and the red carpet.
The movies screened included the works of Bahraini filmmakers Mohammed Bu Ali, Ghadeer Ali, Saudi filmmaker Farhat and Bahrain-based filmmaker Ram Gopal Menon. Arabic and Indian cultural activities were staged on the sidelines of the festival including folk dance, traditional musical and dance items and skits
